InhabitLiving is one of Paulson Management Group’s most popular affiliate programs! It’s easy to see why with great products, a sustainable twist, friendly prices, and reliable customer service. Today we are looking at the growth of this reputable brand into the prolific Designhouse we know today! Basically by accident (and a printer found in the trash) founders Mike Tuttle and Jennifer Smith Tuttle turned a client’s distaste for three graphic patterns into fabric prototypes and in late 2002 Inhabit was born. Shortly after, they swore off designing for other clients to focus strictly on growing the Inhabit brand. Ever since they have been blurring the lines between design disciplines by taking their graphic-driven style out of the commercial design world and into your homes, commercial environments and public spaces. Their products can be seen daily on television programs, read about in the most industry relevant publications but most-importantly adorning the spaces of fans everywhere.
By never really making a specific commitment to develop products for one area within the home they are able to act on a gut feeling about whether something is right for the Inhabit brand. Can it be created responsibly, made from environmentally friendly materials, and can it be produced and sold for an affordable price? Check out the Eco Initiative of how they are putting these beliefs into practice.
Just give them some time and they will change your idea of what can go into your home the same way they have built their business; one person at a time.

Wall Flats™ from Inhabit® are lightweight dimensional wall tiles that work together through an automatic pattern repeat to create large-scale dimensional walls of any size and shape. Wall Flats work in multiples to create a continuous, uninterrupted sculptural wall. The wall panels are molded from bagasse, one of the world’s most renewable resources, they are a durable, biodegradable and environmentally friendly product. They can be installed, trimmed and painted with commonly available products and tools. Scraps are biodegradable and can be recycled with other paper products or composted. Wall Flats nest inside each other to create low volume cartons and easily ship with common small parcel carriers.
Texture is sort an obsession around here and we are always looking for ways to introduce it into areas where flat surfaces typically rule. Our latest foray into this is Corrulights. They mix light & shadow through repetitive silhouettes fixed on a central sprocket. The results are beautiful, airy, sculptural forms that take advantage of smart materials in a 75% recycled form. They are made in the USA, all parts UL listed, treated for fire retardancy, ship flat and assemble in minutes.
